October 14, 2025 – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: The Saudi Aviation Club today announced details of the General Aviation Airshow 2025 “Sand and Fun“, which is held under the esteemed patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh. The conference featured high-level attendance, including His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Founder and Chairman of the Saudi Aviation Club, and His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Fahad AlFahid, Member of the Board of Directors and General Supervisor of the Club. They revealed the key features of the new edition of the airshow, which will take place from November 25 to 29, 2025, at Al Thumamah Airport in Riyadh, aiming to draw over 200,000 visitors to enjoy the entertainment zones for both children and adults.

In a step emphasizing the social dimension of the initiative and celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Saudi Aviation Club, His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman announced a special initiative to promote inclusivity and celebrate all members of society, offering complimentary admission to people with disabilities and children under the age of six. This step underscores the airshow’s social dimension and its commitment to providing comprehensive accessibility facilities and ensuring a seamless experience at Al Thumamah Airport, making general aviation a shared passion for every member of society.
His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Founder and Chairman of the Saudi Aviation Club, affirmed that: “The Saudi Aviation Club’s journey of twenty-five years is a living embodiment of the unlimited support we receive from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince – may God protect them – which has transformed general aviation from a specialized interest into a strategic sector driving growth in the Kingdom. The airshow is an essential hub for networking, having attracted over 100 exhibitors and more than 3,000 VIP visitors and international delegations in its previous edition.
Furthermore, the signing of new agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) focused on vital areas was confirmed, including the Saudi Ballooning Federation.
In the context of reinforcing the airshow’s status as a vital business and partnership platform, the club also announced the joining of Cluster2 and the General Authority of Civil Aviation, along with Health Holding Company and Al Eqtisadiah newspaper as strategic partners and sponsors. This reflects the integration between the public and private sectors to drive growth in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
